Airtable script that duplicates nested records
Task
The objective of this project was to develop an Airtable script that can make the process of duplicating nested records easier and faster. The client needed to duplicate records within a project, such as creating new positions, and wanted a more efficient way to do so.
Solution
To achieve the objective, our team developed a custom script that could be run directly from the project record. The script allowed the user to duplicate records linked to the project quickly and easily, without having to switch tables or manually remove linked records from other tables. Additionally, the script excluded linked records from other tables automatically, making the process even more efficient.
What have we done?
Results
The custom script developed by our team provided the client with a much more efficient way to duplicate records on Airtable. The client could easily create new positions within a project, saving a significant amount of time compared to the traditional method.
